Wild Oklahoma:From Stillwater to Dallas

Picture
Oklahoma, one of the money least states of Unite State, is wilde.  Know as the native american's state, it is where the west begins. With small mountain ranges, prairie, and eastern forests, most of Oklahoma lies in the Great Plains and the U.S. Interior Highlands—a region especially prone to severe weather. In addition to having a prevalence of German, Irish, British and Native American ancestry, more than 25 Native American languages are spoken in Oklahoma, the most of any state. It is also the state that adjacent to 6 other states, one of the most of its kind.

My trip begins here, from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater to Dallas, TX.  Over 200 mile driving across the wildness, we encountered some of the great wildness in the midwest.

Here is where it begins, Oklahoma state univeristy in Stillwater, OK. Although best known with its farm business, the architecture is a not so reflecting what it looks like 100 years ago.

Visiting my old apartment/house is sad. Cant believe I stay here for years. But $330 a month for a 3 bedroom rental is damn cheap. This old house has been stood here for over 30 years. It is has been a student dwelling for over 10 years. The owner here is a nice old man.
The Chinese suppermarket and resturant didnt change a little.

Leaving Stillwater, we drove down through Interstate 35 acrossing Oklahoma to Texas.

Cattles can be seen everywhere along the road.

A house-moving car on the road.

Private drilling of oil is still allowed and can be seen across the county

We even found a children's park by the road.

But what amazed us the most are the followers. Followers along side the road. We can't resist to stop a little just for the followers.

I-35, somewhere south of Oklahoma City. The weather is extreme, clouds cut the sky into half.

There is sunshine.
