E-Pl1 come with a 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom lens. It is very small and very light. It is only about the size of a super-zoom compact camera lens. However, it is one of the best micro 4/3 kit lens as many review sites pointed out. Unfortunately, it only comes in black color (as well as other Micro 4/3 lenses) while the camera body can be black, blue and silver(gold).
This lens is wide-angle 3x zoom, equvilant to 28-84mm in a 35mm camera. It is great for everyday shooting but may not so good for wide life nor sports.
